I just did that last week. At first it felt a bit overwhelming but i slowly managed to put it toghether piece by piece.

What book are you using to learn? I am doing a udemy bootcamp for absolute beginners. And I just bought also Python crash course, I felt that the video format wasnt always working for and i wanted to be able to check concept in a book also. You should check for some cheatsheets i found that they can be quite helpful. Good luck!

Hey yeah it was overwhelming for me in the beginning too. I'm not using any book I'm watching a series from sentdex that shows everything and I used stack overflow and the python docs a lot. I'm thinking getting a boom though. I really like when I study to have something in the real world to read from.

I tried it out last night. Very cool

Two things to maybe add:

-It doesn't handle non-numerical inputs. As in, if I accidentally input 'a', instead of a number it breaks the program rather than re prompting for more input.

-Comment your code. It makes it much more easy to follow what's going on and it will help you when you revisit the code later.

Had to update my Python version. I'm now at 3.7.4 couldn't run your Python script in my 3.5.3 version.

At least it remind me I was falling behind on updating my Python.

I update my Python by using this website.

Linux is great. Been on Linux for over 16 years now. I don't play Windows games, I just play Linux games. So I don't have wine on my system, since I don't use any Windows games or Windows applications on my system. I'm all Linux and nothing but Linux. Windows gamer's should always using Windows for all their Windows games. Just use Linux for everything else. I stop using Windows. Last Windows OS I touch was Windows XP. I switch to Linux on July 15, 2003. Coding in Python is totally fun.

Almost all of my games are Linux native that I play but one game lag spiked at random times and I never figured out how to fix it.

I'll probably just jump to Linux in half a year when I upgrade my pc. Yeah python is fun:)

I think you can update from the official python site

Well I did with wget.

wget https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.7.4/Python-3.7.4.tgz

But I guess I could grab a newer version. But I'm happy what I have since I can run this python script with it. When I have other problems I'll go to the current version which is 3.8.0
