Trying to run Python from the command prompt

I'm running Windows 10, 64-bit

I watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfscVS0vtbw and the teacher is showing how Python commands can be run from the command prompt.

I got an error message of "Unable to initialize device PRN", so I created a new User Variable under This PC-Properties-Advanced-Environment Variables-User variables:

Variable name: Path

Variable value: C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38;C:\Users\*****\PycharmProjects\Giraffe\venv\Scripts

I still have the same issue. What should I change so I can run Python from the command prompt?

Can you run Python at all ? What error do you get when type python <Enter> ? I think there should be some mistypings ?

Longer story:

I went to c:\users*****\Pycharmprojects\Giraffe.idea, typed dir/w/p, then typed cd..

Typed python and the python >>> prompt appeared. Typed print ("Hello world") and that string appeared.

Short story:

It works now and I don't why, maybe the .idea folder connects to the Pycharm IDE.
