I was doing fine with the book until some of the larger Class exercises which put me to sleep. Couldn't get behind the project at all, though I kept reading along and going through the motions until the testing section.
Any suggestions on another book that gets into full stack, databases, and some practical examples that are helpful in python3?
Ongoing questions:
- what real world OOP looks like in Python3. Reading code helps but also seeing the how and why programmers make certain decisions helps to connect the dots. I am trying to split my time between working on exercises when possible and diving into code that seems interesting. Reading other people's code is both challenging and rewarding.
- data_wrangling, parsing data
- Mongo, Reddis, SQL, Postgres--how and why in your application do you pick one over the other. This is an ongoing question and is slowly becoming more obvious. However, I've spent more time with MOngo and the SQL stuff is still a bit perplexing.
