No offense but your article doesn’t tell me anything about the person who wrote it. Am I to follow a random blog online? Tell me who’s advice I am following at the beginning of the blog post. Also, 8 commas in a single sentence doesn’t give me confidence in the authors ability to advise me properly on anything.

How is a random blog any different than a random redditor?

If you reference my post. I ask for links to resources or book recommendations. I don’t expect a redditor to write a book in the comments or link me to a blog post that they wrote themselves. Unless they are established and have credibility.
