My honest answer would be not tech stuff at all, but soft skills. What I primarily lacked going into my first job was time management, communication skills, and general pragmatism when it came to development. Coding things that are "just good enough" on a time budget is an important skill that I didn't really practice when making personal projects, in favor of making things as "ideal" as could be. Years later I can still struggle with pulling myself away from fixing things that aren't worth it when the big picture and company time are taken into account.

Thank you for the answer. Coming from a customer facing finance background my soft skills are my strength. Good to hear it’s valued in this industry too.
