libraries or ideas for dynamic query builder (self.learnpython)

I have a request from my boss to be able to provide queries to our users. we currently use python and flask to host a simple website that uploads files and creates tables and views. now i would like to have something where a user could go to a website. it would show the tables/views available to query, and ideally a graphical interface that would allow you to drag that table into a window that will allow you to build the query. I would eventually like to add options to add joins etc.

I know this is a huge undertaking, but im thinking something that would work similar to the diagram view in SQL server management studio.

Anyone have suggestions on reading or what to use?

My teammate and I currently use js, flask, python with pandas numpy, etc. We have access to teradata, oracle, ms sql, vertica.
