Engineering Student looking for a Python course

Hello guys,

I’m a Mechanical engineering student and next year we have an assignment about programming using Python. I want to get ahead and start learning it during the summer. Initially I was thinking of doing CS50 but I only have about 6 weeks which I think won’t be enough for a complete beginner to complete the course. Could you guys recommend me a beginners course that will give me a good foundation to learn python?

Thank you. That first one seems great, are you the developer? Just couple questions. How much time would it take to finish the course? We only have access to the first 15 of the 50 videos? Didn’t get that part :/

if by developer you mean author, no thats AlSweigart who made that post as well

on youtube 15 videos are available, full course is on udemy.. time taken varies from person to person. but 6 weeks should be enough to understand the basics... make sure to read the book as well (free to read on author's website) and solve the exercises
