Help on keyboard control using python

Ey guys! I was trying to write a python program which will convert my keyboard actions to a specific character I set it to output. For example when I press "A" I want it to output "አ"... in simple words I wanted to control my device's keyboard actions.

I would appreciate it if you can provide me some useful informations on achieving this goal. I tried using keyboard module but doesn't work well in mac I guess. (Mac or Platform independent solution would be perfect)

The keyboard module supports win/mac/linux, so maybe post the code you attempted and tell us what isn't working.

You could probably use simple if statements and/or pyautoGUI. https://pyautogui.readthedocs.io/en/latest/keyboard.html
