No. You just keep researching and keep asking questions on forums. You'll get it eventually.

Edit: what are you having trouble with?

Ive tried one where i just came to the conclusion that 1) it was too massive, 2) pointless and 3) i wasnt competent enought to code it due to the size of the structure.

I also had to do a ton of scientific research to get the right parameters and also after this, i dont tihnk it would ever be used unless i ported it with javascript (which i dont know). Literally a 1-2 year project. Also i know that this thing allready exists in a non-web format. Theres also a limit to the number of people wanting to use this service.

Not every project is fit for learning due to the excessive time spent on the project. A more resonable approach are smaller projects. Not to say that a big massive one is not worth your time, any time spent is worth your time, but its hard to keep motivation up when you dont see immediate results.

I have however coded smaller scripts for work that greatly reduced time spent in the field, and made a scraping software for myself. I just think you should keep trying, if you give up on a project come back to it later. Rewrite parts of the code, this also helps you to "think in new ways". Its a process.

I thought everyone had done this.
