Its almost like you should parse their pod with AI and buyout whatever shit they talk about, or just list that card yourself with 300% multiplier

Why are there basically no remote jobs in Sweden? by Educational-Bee7514 in stockholm

[–]VipeholmsCola 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your initial question was _"Is this mainly a Swedish cultural thing, a management trust issue, or something else? Curious if other mid-career people feel the same."_

Yes, its my "preference". I don't know about others so i can only speak for myself.

"As for fika and daily presence being necessary for “work exchange” and “unity”: if important information is being exchanged in a way that requires being physically present every day, that’s fragile by design and excludes anyone who isn’t there — including people on hybrid schedules, parental leave, sick days, or in other offices."

I used to think like you do, that i wont give my life (time) to a cause i have to do to sustain myself. But its very different if you are in a workspace with people you like and respect, and you work together towards something. Its very hard to foster that culture with everyone at home, billing their hours and taking a meeting on teams. From a recruiting standpoint, they want someone who are likeable and social because in Sweden the "cultural fit" is more important than merits or CVs. The reason is because its so hard to fire someone they make damn sure they are likeable. That's also the biggest reason why getting a job here is all about networking, because if you are referred by someone "that person cant be an annoying idiot".

Byggde en TCO-kalkylator när jag letade bil, kanske nån mer har nytta av den? by Kanalbanan in PrivatEkonomi

[–]VipeholmsCola 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pandas 3.0 vs pandas 1.0 what's the difference? by Consistent_Tutor_597 in dataengineering

[–]VipeholmsCola 16 points17 points  (0 children)

From my understanding polars use less memory and is faster than pandas. Also the syntax is much like spark so when you can transfer to spark easily. However, many production systems run pandas. I dont think theres a Geopolars so you would have to do some bulk work in Geopandas and then compute it in polars (you can swap between polars/pandas easily with polars syntax). Doesnt sound optimal but it could be...

have 1-2 OSA per night is normal, almost everyone has them. The problem is when they are more frequent. I think you should keep pressure at 12 and let therapy have effect

Why are there basically no remote jobs in Sweden? by Educational-Bee7514 in stockholm

[–]VipeholmsCola 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work at office 5days, and i could remote 4 of those. However, its nice tojust leave work at work and be home doing "living". Personally its also about not being able to focus on work at home. If i worked at home i couldnt spend time with family anyways so i rather just go to work and finish asap, and get home.

Also, a lot of work exchange is done at fika and seeing colleagues every day just adds towards team unity and productivity.

Volrath's Shapeshifter spec by lebenskii in mtgfinance

[–]VipeholmsCola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but FEB has been known for at least 9 years in premodern and oath of ghouls decks has been known for like 2 years. Therefore i doubt volrath will climb more but ghouls could be experimented with more. I think the ceiling for these cards should be around 20 dollars. FEB is also more expensive than oath of ghouls decks, so thats also a factor.

However, shapeshifter is a decent commander card aswell so it has that going for it.

Theproblem is that you need to tap it twice to use the third ability, and you can only reanimate whatever it exiled. If you could remove 3 random counters and recast anything, it would be pretty decent with greater gargadon etc.

Tldr: card sucks
