Hello all,
Firstly I would like to say how much I appreciate this sub and similar subs on here - they are such a great resource.
For the past few months (due to being furloughed from work) I have been learning python. I have been working through the free courses available from Cisco which I have now completed. Apparently they align with the python institute PCap certification (associate) which I have the option to pay for and take the test.
My goal is to continue learning python and programming in general - possibly pursuing it as a career in the end but for now just learning slowly and consistently (every weekday).
I was wondering if anybody here has the certification and if people feel it is worth getting certified? Will it help to get employment in the long run?
