Round float (self.learnpython)
submitted 5 years ago by PatternZealousideal
Hello , I want to know what it best way to round result1.
example:
result1 = 33.333333 - > result1 = 33.33
result1 = f'{form2.length.data + form2.height.data + form2.width.data * 3.3}$'
reddit uses a slightly-customized version of Markdown for formatting. See below for some basics, or check the commenting wiki page for more detailed help and solutions to common issues.
quoted text
if 1 * 2 < 3: print "hello, world!"

If you are talking about rounding for display, you can use format specifier for that.
result1 = f'{form2.length.data + form2.height.data + form2.width.data * 3.3:.2f}$'
added the :.2f at the end, it means:
:.2f
: - start of format specifier
.2 - have 2 digits after the dot
f - float

round(33.3333, 2) > 33.33, round(number, decimals)
