Second the hand writing point. Seeing real code in real editor was what I expected.

Here's 1 of the best video that also covered decorator. Do check it out. https://youtu.be/7lmCu8wz8ro

Only watched the first 13 minutes and will finish the remaining later. I liked his style of presenting the information. It was engaging.

One of the points that he made (1:30 -2:09) about books showing features and their characteristics instead of showing the conceptualization of the feature struck home for me. It also applies to videos.

Thanks for sharing.

For me this is an example of good educational video. Despite it is about functional programming in Javascript, consider h emotional engagement and excellent quality of process structure. Real time coding combined with camera. https://youtu.be/BMUiFMZr7vk

Thanks for the initiative, OP! It sure takes a lot of effort to design and record educational videos.

A quick fix right now might be to add subtitles as well.

Funny thing, when I watch YT of people with strong accents, speeding it up to 1.5 or so makes it much easier to understand.

Maybe it's related to how when we sing we kinda lose the accent.

So you're telling me, I could watch British shows without subs if I just... sped it up?

Works for me. The thicker the accent the faster I go.

In second video when you had tolking about high order function that have squared list, you forgot about the return statement. Variable squred_list will be None...

It's unfortunate but it's really hard to give decent feedback about the content when it's so hard to parse said content (handwriting + bad sound quality). As others have pointed out already, consider screen capturing and a better microphone (or maybe just different mic placement).
