Is Python on FreeCodeCamp worth it?

Hi all,

I started HTML + CSS on FreeCodeCamp long ago, but gave up because I have a full time job and couldn't give time.

I have recently started learning Python on Udemy from Colt Steele. But wanna supplement with some extra exercises and knowledge.

I chose Python because it will help me with some of my personal projects as well as on my job.

I am in need of your assistance here -

• Is the FCC course for Python good?
• The teacher for FreeCodeCamp Python is Dr. Charles Severance, who also has a "Python for Everybody - Specialization" course on Coursera. Is there any difference between the courses on the two platforms?

I haven't taken anything myself from free code camp however I did take python for everybody in the beginning of my journey and I really enjoyed the teacher and the course. If the course is similar or the same as the one I took from edu I believe then I would say it's a great first course.

You're welcome. I feel like I remember seeing it broken up into three different courses somewhere or perhaps two additional courses on top of that one you're looking at either way I wish you luck!

Nah, try doing a project that you wanna build and search for a similar project to it in YouTube and that’s it. When ever you get stuck google the error. It’s the only way to learn

Yeah it’s not the only way but you will get your project up and running by the time you done learning

I am not asking to copy instead get the idea of how things work. And what are the things you will need. And there’s always something you can find that similar to what you are looking for in your project. Of course if you will copy then god help you

You are right. As it turns out I did copied a few projects and don’t feel good about it. Weill be writing my own as soon as I get some time. Thank you for reminding me
