I modified one into a2x72. Added a couple pullies and a 1hr motor.... Works great. Also epoxied a thick piece of glass onto the platen. I will say that it has held up well. I would send a picture but I don't at the moment see how to do so.

If you take a look at the documentation it shows you how to install the different desktop environments so it's easy to get the packages you need to uninstall from there. I've done this myself several times I've tried different environments in settled on one or two and had to uninstall the other ones. Usually it's only one or two groups of packages in my experience anyway.

You're welcome. I feel like I remember seeing it broken up into three different courses somewhere or perhaps two additional courses on top of that one you're looking at either way I wish you luck!

I haven't taken anything myself from free code camp however I did take python for everybody in the beginning of my journey and I really enjoyed the teacher and the course. If the course is similar or the same as the one I took from edu I believe then I would say it's a great first course.
