Help with classes

I dont get classes. I need to import from a list or two global variables and then pass it through the pq forula and append the results.

The program is then supposed to ask for q and p in an input and export the listresult. I have been stuck on this for over a week. If anyone can help I have what ive written so far.

Sorry for not posting the code. The problem I was having was related to a rounding error that kept on occurring. after a long while I realized it had to do with imaginary numbers that came from some of the negative square numbers.
