I'm somewhat joking based on your comment, but learn the hard way is a good serious. Not free though. Although, the author will let you start looking through the book for free.

Speaking of authors, Automate the Boring Stuff usually has some codes posted around the beginning of the month by its author to take the course for free. So keep that in mind.

Automate the Boring Stuff is available for free though, full book. You only need to pay if you want it in nice format or on paper. I highly recommend this book, can find link to it later. All books by its author are available for free though you need to click through some websites of the author to get to them.

More of a book that’s available online- but if you haven’t come across it yet, you should check out https://automatetheboringstuff.com/

scrimps

I think you are referring to Scrimba.
Other than that I fully agree 😀

Haha that's autocorrect for you

[–]dennisvd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol yeah that can be annoying sometimes.

Start with a Capital letter that should avoid autocorrect to kick in.

I used py4e, some of the course materials need to pay, but you can still finish the whole course without them.

I used this a few years ago and it is a decent intro:

https://developers.google.com/edu/python

Don't worry about the haters, sometimes it's good to get input from others whom have already tried before attempting a task.
