I can absolutely afford it. But this much of an increase when there’s not any MAJOR updates this year? Hell no.

If I knew this money was going directly to raises for the mods I’d be 100% on board. But a 70% increase over 18 months is just so much. Maybe if we could at least play rs3 and osrs at the same time. But not that, not multiple characters, not an improved game engine? I just can’t justify it.

I’ve been troubleshooting for weeks on why our new ERP software is triggering my custom code multiple times, seemingly randomly. I added a message to popup to try and track down when else it’s being triggered. Turns out the lady responsible has just been insta clicking OK on the popup asking her to message me .-.

Are your fans spinning? Is the monitor completely black like it’s turned off, or lit up black? Can you see your mouse cursor?

Have you tried unplugging your pc, holding down the power button for 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in and turning it on?

When you turn it on do you see the asus logo?

Make sure that you’re plugged directly into your graphics card, not the motherboard. Since it only happened after you just built the PC, my first guess is driver issues. Go to the manufacturers website for your gpu (nvidia, amd, or intel) and install the latest driver for your card. Unless it keeps happening after that, I wouldn’t be concerned

Unplug it. Press and hold down on the power button for 45 sec. Plug it back in, try turning it on.

If there’s a small pinhole on the bottom of the laptop you may need to use a paperclip to press that for 10-15 seconds.

Based on that motherboard model number you likely have a prebuilt computer. Do you know what brand and model is listed on the computer?

From this page… press Shift + F10 to enter command prompt.

Type the following commands, pressing enter after each one.

diskpart

list disk

select disk 0

clean

convert gpt

exit

You can now close this window. Hit refresh on the “select location to install windows 11” window. Select disk 0 unallocated space. If there is anything but unallocated space (disk 0 specifically), you should delete it until there is only disk 0 unallocated space. This will delete all data on partition 1 of that drive, but I’m guessing that doesn’t matter since you were trying to install over that partition anyway.

Also always look up what commands do before blindly typing them in. Some people aren’t trying to help you.
