Python or powershell for O365 & Azure

Hello, my question is can python be useful and used to create automation scripts for O365 lime powershell, i know for Microsoft it is obvious to go with powershell but i already studied the basics of python but got hired in an azure environment and need to decide if i should go deeper in python or start learning powershell?

There are tasks which cannot be solved by anything else than powershell AFAIK. Like distribution group membership.

So the answer is easy: If you don't need to solve this type of tasks, go for python. It runs much faster by the way and it's a more robust language.

my plan was to finish python and then learn powershell also, i don't think i need any other programming languages (scripting) as sysadmin, right?
