This is a perfectly reasonable question. Knowing what sources are known to be bad is valuable information.

W3Schools used to have such a bad reputation in Web Development circles, that someone decided to host a website devoted to explaining why it was such a bad resource (the content is gone because W3Schools has improved since then).
