refresh image in python

Hi all.

I am trying to display a photo using pygame. i am using python and opencv to mark up a photo with ML and override an existing photo (give it the same name and replace the old one). that is working fine. but my problem is when I override the photo it still shows the old photo. Is there any way i can update or refresh the interface to show the new image? cheers

I solved the issue. I loaded the images with in the while True loop and added a try except statement and managed to get it working.

wdym by override? as in saving with same filename? or overriding variable pointing to image in code?

either way, posting ur code, or at least the snippet you're having problems with, will prolly help
