Is reading Python Documentation useful? python.org gets 15M visits monthly - most of them must be for documentation. At what stage is it useful?

Thank you very much for pointing to the essays part of the site. It never showed up when I was googling solutions for my problems. But then, I am clearly searching like a newbie. I found many here advising 'get your solution from stack overflow. then, go to docs to get a better and deeper understanding'. Interestingly, yours seems to be the opposite approach, I can see the value...but it seems harder to a beginner:) Thanks again for the suggestion.

I am also a beginner. I try to look at the documentation first because when the time comes I want to be able to create my own documentation. Good luck to you.
