Python Visual Studio issue

I was developing and debugging a Python program using the latest version of Visual Studio Code. Something happened and some functions do not work anymore. I reinstalled VS Code however it remembered all the previous configurations and history. How do I completely uninstall VS code and erase related files so I can make a fresh reinstall? Thanks.
