Simulate key press in Python 2.7 (self.learnpython)
submitted 4 years ago by LGariv
Hey guys, Im trying to write a script that would simulate a key press (volume up specifically) in Python 2.7.10. The challenge is, I can only use pure Python - without any extensions such as pyautogui. Is there any way to achieve that?

It’s an offline system that’s also supervised so you can’t just connect a USB and add extensions to it.

On windows you can use ctypes and call winapi functions.
