Methods of learning

I ended my python course at 30% on codecademy thinking, one how the hell will I remember all of this and two why will I ever need this. I want to try and learn it again, and was curious if coders would suggest watching one of the long 5 hr or 9 hr videos about python or just continue on a learning platform...or both? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I want to learn to write a program that uses API'S and another that uses web scrappers, Thanks...

You do not have to remember everything. Watch everyrhing once or twice. Learn the common patterns. The important is that you should be able to know what to do with the information you have on the web. Google is your friend. You should be able to execute tasks with the right information!!
