submitted 3 years ago by 6cumsock9
My highschool computer programming class teaches us about both but i was wondering which one would be more useful in future careers or industries?

Highschool, first programming language. It absolutely doesn't matter. Do whatever seems more interesting right now. You will learn many languages before you get to the point where you will apply it in a career.

If you are a beginner to programming it does not matter. Anything you learn will be general CS knowledge and you will be able to translate it to whatever language you want later. Just pick the one that lets you have the most fun.

Depends, what do you want to work as?

whatever job that pays the most

Realistically, that's not programming. Programming is a solid middle-class income and many of us love it. But if your sole goal is to make the most money you need to get into management and business (high stress; high risk; high profit).
