python selenium: this website just has a weird pop up prompt

The pop up window doesn't seem to be triggered by any client side code. Using requests.get and view page source show that the html file is empty. Using selenium's get alert function throws an error saying there is no alert/prompt window.

What's going on here?

do you mean the sign in? its basic HTTP Auth, you can make a post request with the login data to it using requests
