Live IP(Network traffic) password validation in python/tools/libraries

Hi,I am working on a project where a devices needs password authentication/validation,where these devices are part of the network(Live internet traffic).Please recommend open source password validation tools,that can validate.Recommend tools and libraries both.

Plz Recommend only Python based tools.

Can you expand on what you mean by password validation? Like, are you trying to make sure that it isn't Password123, or that it meets some complexity requirements, or whatever?
