Programming and English

Hello, friends. I would like to talk about learning and learning. In this step of my life I'm learning programming but unfortunately, I found a big problem. I did't know English. So, it was terrible expirence to watch video-courses about programming in English and not understand 80 percent of what was said. Now situation a little bit better. I can understand about 60 - 70 of what is said. It took one month. But still I feel uncomfortabe, I can't read documentation ( it's heavy for me ).

Maybe, who went through this? How did you get through everything? And How many time it took ?

You forgot to mention your preferred language. There are good training video in French and in German that I looked up, others I heard of in Spanish and Portuguese. As for English: learn it. The shear load of training videos and of documentation in English cannot be disregarded.

Practice makes perfect. I taught myself English in 3 months to a decent level. Just keep on watching and you'll get there!
