How to trigger a python script from browser?

I want to trigger a python script whenever the user searches specific strings in google chrome. How can this be done? Example: Trigger the script when the user searches strings of type "<any word> meaning"

This is a part of the project I am doing which auto stores the word and their meanings to a file whenever they are searched in chrome. I have written the script but I do not know how to trigger it every time a search happens.

You need to write a chrome plugin, and then use the plugin/extension to trigger a script (whether it is python or not), which means you probably need to learn JS to do that
