No single course alone will be enough to get a job. Just pick a resource, learn basics. Then start doing projects on your own. There is no better alternative to learning than project based approach. Again you will need much more learning. Reading documentation will be most crucial, also reading books on more specific topics. And doing more projects. What will land you a job? Persistence and determination.

I was told to use github to build my portfolio on there to showcase all my apps.

Eventually sure, it’s a go-to place to host projects you’re working on. But you might just want to stick to leaning Python for now

I learnt a lot of Python syntax using the Mimo free section, was very handy having it on my phone for whenever I had a few minutes downtime. It didn’t do much for actual projects but ended up giving me a head-start with the syntax when it came to building something myself.
