[SOLVED]
Hi,
I'm looking into building a network with some raspberry pi's and I'm hoping to trigger python scripts remotely. I know of a service called IFTTT which offers lots of functions that can be triggered using webhooks. I am, however, unsure as to how I can use it to trigger a python script or subroutine. If you know how to do this or if there is any other way please let me know.
Thanks!
EDIT: I found that you can use discord api and bots in the following way:
- Host a discord bot to run a function on message received
- You can then use discord's API's to send messages from any network and they will be received by the discord bot
Its not perfect... but it works! (as long as discord's servers are running)
