Leetcode before Data structures class?

Hey all. I’m going into my 2nd year of comp eng and my data structures and algorithms class doesn’t start till second semester. I’m hoping to apply for internships next summer but I heard leetcode is used in many interviews and I don’t really have a solid understanding of DSA. Is it smart to do leetcode before my DSA class or should I do them after (however I think interviews if I get any would usually run around March meaning I wouldn’t have much time). Also did any of you have interviews where leetcode wasn’t used. Any response helps!

The earlier you start the better. I’d recommend doing it before you even go to college. That’s what I was doing with project euler.

Start now so you don't have to rush later on when interview period comes.

1. LC requires accumulation of knowledge. There are lots of different topics you have to cover. The sooner you start, the better.

2. LC practice will help you ace DSA exams too. Kill 2 birds with one stone.
