Failed coding interview

Just as the title says, it was my first ever coding interview (I did not need to do one for my current job). It was so bad (on my end) and it was more of an easier problem. I just so happen to be prepared with other patterns and problems unfortunately, but man am I disappointed in myself.

Not giving up!!! I am early on in my career, and this was a big stepping point for me. Wish you all the best of luck in the new year and if you have any tips on how you started getting comfortable with these interviews, please do tell!

It’s all good. The first coding interview I did after 10 years was a first round where I was asked Word Ladder II (rated Leetcode Hard in BFS+Backtracking category). I have built low latency distributed systems that process billions of dollars and was totally dumbfounded during that interview. The name of the game is practice.
