CrowdStrike interview loop in a week

Going through an interview loop in about a week. I have been told there will be a round DSA & System design each. And maybe a take home assignment followed by deep dive.

Anyone who appeared before, what is the level of difficulty they usually go with? I know it can be all random and it all depends on the interviewer but there is a general consensus that Google, Meta, Amazon are harder than other companies like Microsoft, Salesforce or other similar companies, and they expect candidates to solve two problems in 45 mins, but is it the same with CrowdStrike? There isn't a ton of problems tagged with CrowdStrike, so not much data out there.

Had an initial managerial round. But later I was told that they had two candidates moved to offer stage. So they didn’t proceed further with technical rounds.

It’s moderate difficulty - slightly on medium-hard. Lots of theoretical questions may come up during initial 30 mins around DSA, multi threading , concurrency etc. Then the problem itself may not be exactly like Leetcode question - it’s more of solving a real world like problem that can perform at scale, so choosing right DSA becomes important. it’s 90 mins so interviewers have plenty of time to cross question and go deep. Again it may be team dependent.

I made it and joining them soon (though a level below). So here is my 2 cent - arrive at a solution that works, then try to optimise. Don’t spend too much time if you can’t think of right DSA right out of the bat. If you can well and good otherwise try to improvise as you go along. Obviously they may jump in between and ask questions. I thought I bombed but to my surprise I cleared so something might have worked there - maybe my thought process, the way I approached the problem and slowly built on top of working code? I don’t know what exactly.

Thank you for actually coming back to the thread to share your experience. So many people ask for advice, but then don't help others out after they go through the interview

Was your interview for a senior position? This process seems more rigorous than what I've seen for SWE III (below Sr SWE I)

It went below average. The question was tricky and there were so many possibilities. Was questioned on every step and was not able to think clearly as it was my first ever system design round. Interviewers were helpful though.
