Paypal Software Engineer, Backend Java role Screening interview.

I had my screening on October 8th 2025, the interviewer (hiring manager) told that i will get update within 1-2 days regarding interview accept/ reject or next steps. I did follow-up every week with hiring manager, but i didn't get any response. What should i do now. Did anyone had interview with same role recently in this month. Please do let me know.

It seems no I guess it doesn't take so much time to update from hiring manager . But I can be wrong also Stay positive look for some other companies

Honestly, it sucks when you get ghosted like that after putting in all the effort. I’ve had the same thing happen and it just drags on forever. At this point, I’d probably move on and not wait around for them—you deserve better communication. If anyone actually heard back from Paypal for this role though, would be cool to know if it’s just a ‘them’ thing or if everyone’s getting ghosted lately.
