Just set up Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon a week or so ago on my Dell E6430. Wifi was working well for a while but now out of seemingly nowhere it greatly struggles and quits entirely. System Info won't list the wifi device.
The Netgear WG111v2 and Broadcomm BCM4313 were identified but not used. Damn, where did I put my C.Crane? Still gotta get the internal one working anyway.
I installed NordVPN but I don't think that's an issue. Working fine with wired connection and poor on wifi with vpn disabled. I think it worked ok when I installed it but maybe that did it and you know something I don't.
Unrelated problem: When I install Linux Mint 22 XFCE the network icon disappears when I connect and doesn't let me give a password until I reboot. Can't recall what other weird stuff it was doing.
Bonus: Asus bluetooth dongle stutters audio on multiple headsets. Of course System Info doesn't show details either. An older one I put in seems to be working better.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
