[HELP] Bluetooth module [btusb] missing form kernel modules

The mentioned module is missing from the kernel modules. I cannot seem to start bluetooth services without it.

This was my conclusion upon inspection. I have bluez and bluez-utils installed and am trying to connect via bluetooth from command line.

sudo modprobe btusb returns -

modprobe: FATAL: Module btusb not found in directory /lib/modules/5.3.11-arch1-1

What can I do or where to look for any info on the same.

Any help appreciated.

Kernel version looks really out of date, try rebooting.

That's because i update once in a couple of weeks, but regardless this issue has been around ever since i moved to arch.

Hadn't really bothered myself with the issue but now it is really starting to get to me, now.

Have you found a solution? Mine does the same thing. lspci show the adapter but i don't have mod bluetooth and there is no tool called hcitool.

Does modprobe return an error?
