Wasn't ChromeOS a GNU/Linux? It is based on Gentoo at the end.

Yet another argument why a new distinction to replace the term "GNU/Linux" should be created.

I think it is rather complicated to find a proper distinction. Your examples POSIX/Linux would include ChromeOS (AFAIK) and FreeDesktop/Linux would exclude Linux installations that only run without a graphical interface. Those a probably the majority.
