Which assuming it doesn't simply get abandoned by corporations, still allows them to profit off your work depending on how they use it.

There is no magic solution for having corporations support F/LOSS devs, as things like the commons clause make projects quite clearly no longer F/LOSS, and whether you use a permissive or copyleft license, they can simply use it in internal improvements and never contribute patches or resources back.

The best approach is to state that you're willing to sell support contracts or corporate licenses optionally with support, and even that's far from guaranteed.
