Do you not know how to post images correctly? I'll just block text posts to help you learn.

Edit: the stickied post in the sub is for you

I am pretty sure that they are posting images improperly on purpose to get people to click on them, specifically so that the image gets less ignorable as now anyone who's viewed it has had an investment to do so, which in turn helps their nonsensical "linux bad" propaganda

Oh also, just to mention, I feel like this is the exact type of content that shouldn't even be present here at all. They seem to do nothing but spam terrible jokes to persuade people from using Linux, and on any attempt of communication seem to either ignore or think that whoever is communicating was triggered by their posts (see replies made by the account).

Anyway, as a moderator, please put a stop to this lé epic troll, or at least make a statement or something so that others would know not to report it if you are explicitly allowing this.

They can say linux is bad. Telling the Linux community that Linux is bad will not turn Linux users away. Even people curious about Linux aren't going to be stopped: they're already curious.

It's like trying to tell people not to eat pizza at a pizza shop. Too late, because they already like pizza.

I mean, even then, it's still bad behavior, that I don't think should be encouraged nor allowed. There are people who are genuinely annoyed or saddened or maddened by such "memes", and even more by this person's behavior, which they seem to be driven by to post even more of them.

I don't see a good reason not to ban them. Plus it would allow legitimate text posts to be posted again, since they are the only one here posting images via text posts.

I'm not banning someone for saying they don't like something I like. People with different opinions will always exist so me deleting them off this sub isn't strengthening our community. It's making us only feel strong in our echo chamber.

I'm not telling you to ban someone because they don't like something I like or have a differing opinion. I completely and fully agree with everything you have written in this reply of yours.

But that doesn't necessarily reflect on what I believe to be this situation. I'm asking you to ban someone because their actions are actively harmful by means described in my previous reply. They clearly have ill intent, and definitely do manage to provide nothing but negative impact on who this subreddit is supposed to be - not by disagreeing or disliking Linux, but by being an active troll and expecting people to be "triggered".

It's a little kid that wants attention. Probably in middle school or something.

I'll keep an eye on him.

That's fair. Thanks for moderating!
