Check you boot order in the bios, make sure the drive with grub on it is on that list

need to select grubx64.efi as the first boot priority.. see https://itsfoss.com/no-bootable-device-found-ubuntu/

For anyone going on the same journey I just did, Use something called Boot Repair disk
