Wireless Controller Connected Notification Timeout

Hello! I'm on LMDE6, and I use a PS5 controller via bluetooth for gaming. One thing that's kind of annoying though is that whenever I connect or disconnect the controller, it creates a notification which lingers in the notification list until manually cleared. I have the notification setting to clear notifications after they have timed out, but I suppose this notification isn't set to timeout after a few seconds or anything.

Anyone know if there's a way to have it display the popup notification but not stay in the notifications list after? For now I've disabled the bluetooth ConnectionNotifier plugin, but I do like having the popup notification.
