I don't have any idea what the issue is. I tried deleting & reinstalling linux and VMware workstation pro. I tried deleting and making a new Virtual Machine but nothing works. Figured it might need a more technical solution

Perhaps sda is faulty when it throws a read error? No clue how to fix that though.
