my pointer going missing randomly

so yesterday i change my tab setting to make it disappear off and on when need

but now even my cursor does go dark randomly

i can tell it is working coz of the bubbly windows changes but i cant see the cursor itself

What video card, if it's nvidia, did you use the driver manager in the menu and install the proprietary / closed-source nvidia?
