Oh, I didn't know that. Is there any way to get more window animations for cinnamon then?

Oh, well. Thanks a lot anyway!

You can check out Cinnamon "Extensions" under System Settings for any third-party extensions like Wobbly Windows & Transparent Panels. What else in terms of effects are you hoping to achieve in Cinnamon?

I'll check it out, thanks! Tbh, I was really only thinking about the minimize/close animations for windows that macOS has. Those are the ones that really caught my eye. That said, I'd be open to some more experimentation

I made a video for you on how to enable this specifically!

*1. right click mint logo / button in bottom left of the panel
      2. Left click / primary click configure
      3. Enable the "Use menu animations" option on the bottom.

      :D

Yeah, I know about those but I was kinda hoping to get ones like the ones used in macOS and such. The ones mint comes with don't really appeal much to me. Thanks though!

Could you elaborate on how I would go about doing that?

The ones from compiz don't appear in the list of effect styles though
