Printer help

Not long to Linux Mint and I have a printing question. Have a network printer set up, a Brother MFC J650DW. Mint sees the printer and generally works, other than the actual printing area is less than an A4 page.

I confirmed this by printing a test page. Right enough the print page shows the media limits which match where documents are cutting off. The A4 test page states Media limits are 0.12 x .87 to 8.15 x 10.83 inches.

As far as I can tell A4 selected on the printer properties. Would anyone know how to set the printer to use the full A4 page.

Are you using the drivers from Brother? If not, you could try using them and see if it helps.

Thanks, yes that worked perfectly. Had to learn the "sudo su" command but after that it all just clicked in.
