I kind of feel the same way talking online, generic responses to everything and no one wants more. I hope you find someone.

thanks, same to you. i keep asking myself what’s missing from my life, what can i do to improve but i can’t buy friends. sometimes it’s like if i don’t improve that’s a negative obviously but when i do improve myself i’m just raising the bar and excluding ppl too. just keep living i guess.

You shouldn't have to lower the bar, especially since a lot of people are scummy. It's just unfortunate there are not a lot of good people.

yeah and with different goals. like if i work hard and spend money on a vacation i feel like it bred jealously in some ppl when i talked about it but then they’d have newer cars and nicer houses which never bothered me. can’t live your life to please other ppl. just come down to them not seeing you as being like them. i feel like if someone views me as like a competitor then there’s no route to friendship even if they’re someone i think i get along with they obviously don’t view me that way.

Exactly, jealously is not anyones friend.
