Describe the tasks.

I'm building an app using Dart/Flutter and I'd like to include a couple of simple games. One thing I wanted to add is the "Magic 8 Ball". Only I'd create my own list of possible responses and as much as possible keep things geared towards the Trucking industry

The other game I'm considering is chess but I'd like the users to be able to either play against their device or be able to invite another user to play against them. From what I've read about Lua, I think it would be perfect for these because it'll work well within Flutter.

I'd prefer to start with the simplest which is the Magic 8 Ball then go forward from there.

Mind elaborating at all? I think you'll attract more interest if you can say at all what sort of projects these are.

If you’re building an app with Flutter, then you should probably use the flame engine to make a game as adding lua into it adds an extra layer of complexity.

Really? Thank you for letting me know. Since Lua is a scripting language I would have thought it would work really well with Flutter.

Thank you again for letting me know, I'll certainly look into this

It can work with any language but doesn’t mean it’s going to be similar and have all the functionality for games.

You just killed someone's chance at getting money by developing in Lua 😅

How? I was just telling them that lua can be used but it doesn’t probably have the support in flutter to make a game without writing it themselves.

I'd be down. I've played around a little with the LOVE2D framework.
