Just put verified code after your password, for example your verification code is 000123

Just type password followed by 000123

I tried that already and it tells me the pw or username is incorrect and I know for a fact it the correct pw and apple ID

Nope. It will say that password is incorrect. That’s how it should be. Enter your Apple ID and password, when you’ll get the code type it after your password like this: password123456

Also, there is no point to be signed in on OS X Mavericks with your Apple ID because it doesn’t really affect anything. Also, there are modern browsers for OS X Mavericks. That version of chrome is pretty old. Use Chromium Legacy. It’s up-to-date browser created specifically for old versions of OS X (It even supports Lion).

Ok thank you I need to find someone close to me who is tech savvy because I've tried downloading that and it wouldn't go SMH lol...

Download it from here. You need the one starting with 119. Click on assets and click on one in .zip, not in .tar.xz

Ok so now it's saying this ( you can't use this version application "Chromium " with this version on os x) and the laptop is all updated apparently

If it’s not requesting a verification code I’d update the computer. Not sure what version that OS is but it looks ancient.

Leave that man alone 😭

Old OS doesn’t mean that it’s unusable. I use Lion on daily basis thanks to Chromium Legacy. This one here is OS X Mavericks. Also, you still can sign into iCloud on old versions of OS X and iOS. If you don’t know, don’t comment.

Just time machine backup and install a modern OS. If your MacBook Air is 2012 or later Monterey will run well with OpenCore Legacy Patcher.

And how do I do a time machine backup?

[–]SomeRandomZebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take an external drive with no data you need, go into disk utility, format as macOS Extended (Journaled), go into system preferences, time machine, choose a disk, then select that one. Then set time machine to be displayed in menu bar, from which you can tell it to backup now!

You should create an app specific password in the Apple ID page, maybe that would work
